The people were great. If you wanted an opportunity, people would try to hand you work from their section whether it was print, digital, marketing, coding. My boss and a colleague even taught me how to code!

Difficult to get full-time work vs. contract. The company (not the staff in office) treats contractors very separately, they don't get any benefits, nor do they get invited to team building days. Not the best in pay, but probably similar to most media outlets.

Great clients and projects, modern and inspiring offices, colleagues are interesting and creative people

Management seems to want to do good, but they make decisions that don’t make sense when it comes to company structure. They don’t make all employees feel they can move up or that they are important.
