Pros
There is a laid-back environment at this establishment. Community between employees is strong and positive. Your schedule can be rather flexible and you have the potential to work a good deal of hours. During my two years working for Boating in Boston I received a promotion and increased pay and work responsibilities. I also had opportunity to receive lifeguard, CPR, First Aid training and Kayak Instructor and SUP instructor certifications. Also, you can use equipment after a shift or on an off day!
Cons
Poor organization in upper management. Typically young and inexperienced employees. Long/all day shifts as managers.
