Pros
You know with this company there is no micromanagement which is nice. At least not from what I have seen. Dress comfortably and essentially pick your own schedule. Pretty relaxed environment. Also It took a LONG time to do it but we finally have a 401k.
Cons
COLA. The CEO here does not seem to believe in Cost-of-living-adjustments. In a time that the statistics are everywhere and proven, anytime the question is brought up, the CEO advises that he believe all Wage conversations "Should be held between you and your direct manager." I could understand this for Merit increases but this is where a CEO needs to step up. Benefits. Health Benefits are a joke currently, we only have access to an HSA Plan and they advise us to learn how to work with insurance company’s and doctors’ offices independently. There are no copays, we are only advised to try to visit a free digital doctor first, and then if we must see a specialist to beg them to bill us instead and hope for an affordable bill in the mail. Of course, the deductibles are very High as well. I honestly find this professionally irresponsible. Lack of management. Most departments here have a person who is an assumed manager or actually has it as a title, but most have no management training. They have no growth direction for employees, have poor delegation skills and because of this overwork themselves. There’s really no Corporate training done at all here and only recently started doing orientations. So, most responsibilities here are mostly assumed and not advised.
