Pros

The ONLY pro is the people I work with within my own office. I wish I could list some more pros but all I can come up with at this point are Cons!

Cons

-Underpaid -Under-appreciated (remind you that this is a "leading employee rewards and recognition company") -When going through the EXTENSIVE interview process (they require you to interview with 3 different people on their team to make sure that you will be a "good fit" for their "company culture") they will promise you the moon and the stars saying how this company offers all of these AMAZING benefits such as: Flexible Time Off (it used to be unlimited when I started), Paid Sick Leave, a $1,000 USD Learning and Development Stipend, a Newboarder Reward (which is a $150 Blueboard reward you receive as a new Blueboard employee to be able to experience what customers get to experience), Health Insurance, Workiversary Rewards, Employee Referral Programs (that allow you to earn larger $ Blueboard rewards for referring your friends/someone you know if they are hired on), Work from Home Wednesdays (as advertised on their company website), team events and annual company retreats. HOWEVER HERE'S THE CATCH: As a contracted employee you DO NOT RECEIVE A SINGLE ONE OF THESE BENEFITS. The company loves to point out all of these benefits to you during the interview process to show you how amazing it would be to work for them and how amazingly innovative their company culture is so that you will ignore how grossly underpaid you will be. Nor do they mention how as a contracted employee you will be treated exactly like a Blueboard employee and be required to do the same amount of work for less benefits and less compensation than your coworkers. -The company pushes productivity at all costs and does not care about you as a person or anything outside of how many rewards you can push through during the time you are in office. -Toxic work environment -Unfair and unclear expectations put on employees without being given the proper training -No acknowledgement of ownership from management on the ways they have mislead contracted employees from the beginning nor have they taken any actionable steps towards compensation for said employees. -No upward mobility within the company or promoting within (at least in my office this was the case) -Ambiguous policies, procedures, etc. so that the company can never be held accountable to any standard. Management will gaslight you when you call out or bring any unfair treatment or conditions to their attention.
