Pros

The one thing that impressed me the most about this company was the openness to be able to share your thoughts, ideas and concerns. The act like they are very open minded and they tell you that they are still growing and going through some growing pains. So making you feel as thou you are part of something that will openly receive your feedback and consideration. Pay was decent. They advertise they like to promote from within.

Cons

Sharing your thoughts or concerns can be a downfall with them in Huntsville. Once you start to express your concerns. You almost immediately get pushed back. Sometime the comments come from the manager "this is not the place to talk about this." Not understanding why this is not the place especially when they have a morning meeting to address such issues, concerns or praises. When they tell you they will come and speak with you later. They really mean later or never. When you talk to them about it again they will make an excuse or just keep blowing you off. They have an unfair practice here. They like to punish the dedicated worker and reward the undedicated/slacker worker. I was informed to slow down on my tickets I was doing daily so my co worker could catch up. I would then tell them. "if you would say something to them to keep up, show up to work on time, take a short lunch instead of 2 hour lunch breaks, stop talking to everyone and anyone they might be able to get something done. At least work there shift to the designated time not coming in about an hour late and leaving early everyday. Its not just the employee that breaks the rules for work. It is also the managers that don't follow the rules they have put in place. For example: Cut off deadlines for the shipping something out. All items to be shipped out that day need to be at the warehouse by 2 pm to be able to get out that day. This is not the case they would bring stuff over to the shipping team about 330 or 4 and expect it to get out. If this doesn't make it they they will use a 3rd party carrier normally costing allot more time and money to get it out for them. If the item doesn't make it out that day you have to give an explanation on why it didn't make it and TIME is not the answer. Promotion from with in the company is normally under false prentice. They groom you for the job and promise you the job and then in turn give it to someone else. The managers like to cover up what is going on. For example sexual harassment from a team lead was dealt with by punishing the victim. They just moved the victims to another shift and made sure they would have not contact with them. Then in turn try to brush it under the rug. The people that are dedicated and wanting to work will get the punishment of being short handed. The employee that was groomed for the job is left with broken promises of getting the job and the pay raise. If you fit in the click and can be pushed around then this the place for you. They do not like Self Thinkers. Seems that they like to push out the higher paid employees and bring in employees at a lower rate. The turn around here is crazy. When they let you go the will actually get 4 to 6 security guards to escort you out. Then in turn they will follow you down the road for a couple of miles to make sure you are not returning. You would have to do that if you were fair and honest.

Pros

4 weeks of PTO, good benefits, free drinks and snacks available at all locations.

Cons

Leadership is inconsistent and often incompetent, company is very segmentalized and each group operates to different goals and schedules, poor communication with other parts of the company and with leadership. There is an overarching Yes-men mentality amongst leadership, and they often are just aiming to not be the group to be to blame for delays or failures. Personal growth is limited and widely ranges between different groups, there are areas where people see regular raises and promotions, while the majority seems to be told there are freezes or that they will be put in for next cycle. Pay has fallen behind, in the past they used to pay well and above the industry standard, but have not kept pace. Hours can be very long, again dependent on your group, some people may enjoy things like work from home or flexible schedules, but the majority are asked to work long hours and even support roles that could be remote are forced to be on site, despite a lack of space for the number of employees. I moved desks locations and buildings 6 times in 3 years. Re-orgs happen every 6 months, and create significant instability within the company, but rarely bring positive improvements. Good talent is not rewarded, and leaving quickly.
