Pros
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the most intentional cultures I've ever been part of and I've worked with some of the best in the world like Fairmont, Loblaws, Disney and Lululemon. Many companies talk about culture...Blue J actually lives it. Even with many fully remote team members, there is a warmth here that is hard to explain until you experience it. From the moment you're onboarded you feel it...the transparency from leadership, the care behind every hiring decision, the sense that the people around you were chosen on purpose. Our CEO personally meets with every potential hire, a rare and deliberate investment that sets the tone from day one. The result is a team that was chosen with intention, and it shows in every interaction. The law of attraction is absolutely at play here. Leadership knows your name. Not in a performative way, in the way that tells you they were paying attention when you were hired and they're still paying attention now. There is a calm confidence that runs through the organization that makes you feel settled, not anxious. The values aren't a poster on a wall. They show up in how decisions get made, how the team is celebrated, and how connected we feel to each other despite the distance. The quarterly kickoffs are something else entirely. The energy, the intention, the detail, you can feel how much thought and care went into every moment. The office, when you're in it, carries the same care. Nothing is an afterthought. I feel genuinely proud of my contributions here. I have great tools, real support, and a team I trust. If you are someone who thrives in an environment that is human, thoughtful, and quietly exceptional, this is it.
Cons
We move fast and the ambition is high. Not a complaint, more an invitation and reminder to us as leaders to keep building the communication rhythms that already make this place feel so intentional.
