Pros

Bloomreach has a strong market presence for our Search solution. Customers seem happy (but that has been trending poorly over the last 12 months). Having said that, I would not recommend a friend come work here, and I am not optimistic about the future of the company.

Cons

No vision for the the product roadmap and low investment in product development. Instability in leadership. The CFO and CPO were both let go this week. Seems like a miss the CMO was not let go. Marketing has performed very poorly and and CMO is completely out of her element in this role. No "North Star" for the company. Priorities shift by the quarter. The focus is solely on getting our numbers up to go public, but no one seems to know how to get those numbers up. We are just told we need to get them up. Very political culture. Good people that are performing get let go, under performers that are properly aligned with those in power are protected and promoted.

Thank you for sharing your feelings and impressions in the review. On the factual points: Customer NPS in 2022 has had an upward trend across products. Research & Development investments are in line with market benchmarks for companies of similar type & size (as a % of ARR). Marketing has exceeded pipeline targets in Q1, Q2 2022 and are consistently increasing brand awareness across our core markets, analysts and media. The 2022 company strategy was clearly outlined at the January 11, 2022 All Hands. There's a clear quarterly performance management system in place through Lattice. Employee NPS has been stable at an all-time high, significantly improving year over year. However, it is completely valid to say you are not optimistic about your team's future and you wouldn't recommend a friend to work at Bloomreach. This might be due to a variety of factors, possibly including insufficient guidance on how to achieve your targets. Pros

The leadership team is supportive, the clients are great, and there’s a strong sense of community, despite the company being global and remote. In my experience, people are genuinely kind and eager to help however they can. The company really lives by its “no drama” culture, and there are plenty of opportunities to grow in your role and learn new things.

Cons

It’s not necessarily a con, but the company does move at a fast pace, so you have to be comfortable being proactive, self-serving, and continuously learning. It’s a great environment for someone who enjoys being challenged and stretching beyond their current skill set. If you’re looking for a slower, steadier pace, this may not be the best fit.
