Pros
Work-life balance is very good. I've never thought it's possible in the USA that all (really, not most, but all) employees are offline by 5-6 p.m. This is a significant consideration if it aligns well with your current life goals. They also provide parental leave for 6 months, which is excellent. Insurance is good. The people are very nice.
Cons
The management at this company is both incompetent and heavily focused on micro-management. Despite overseeing 50+ subordinates, managers still involve themselves in fundamental code-related matters while lacking any clear goals for the next 12 months. A particularly problematic policy is the refusal to rehire former employees, which results in a workforce that has never been exposed to better practices. Many rely solely on internal experiences or online sources, dismissing alternative perspectives and insisting their way is the only correct approach without genuinely understanding its effectiveness. Accountability is also lacking—if someone blocks your development environment, everyone may know who is responsible, but no one will take ownership of the issue. Additionally, no matter how hard you work, salary increments remain minimal. Management may praise your performance, but they ultimately claim to have no power to influence compensation.
