Pros
Snacks, kudos of working there and the range of work is interesting.
Cons
Performance reviews are not transparent and yours will depend entirely on if your manager a) likes you and b) has a relatively normal and healthy sense of a work-life balance. Progression options are limited with mobility really difficult (people sit in the exact same jobs for 15+ years for a reason) and if your manager gives you a poor review simply because they don't like you then you'll be blocked from applying for other internal jobs for 18 months at a time. Similarly, completely unsuitable people are promoted to senior positions simply because the Chief Content Officer favours them (not because they're actually qualified) while others are overlooked and get trapped in the same jobs for decades, becoming unemployable elsewhere because they haven't progressed. Hours are also long, inflexible and you'll have very little control over your finish times and will frequently be expected to work evenings and weekends.
