Pros

Pay is fair and most employees work remote.

Cons

Expectations are not realistic. The systems are restrictive causing delays. Customer timelines are behind schedule, resources are limited and more comes in the pipeline compounding all problems leaving no time for strategic growth. Constant fire fights.

Pros

Remote work is really the only pro that this company has left.

Cons

I have had the pleasure of working for Blend for multiple years and have witnessed a shift in their priorities from employee-wellbeing to profit. Upper management will take your resources to do your job, replace them with cheaper products, and then complain about your performance. You’d be lucky to be one of the ones who makes it past one of their many layoffs as well. You will put your blood, sweat, and tears into this job and will not be rewarded. Measly raises and unfair pay is a huge issue as well, putting employer morale so low. People are paid below half of their market value and expected to keep their heads above water.
