Pros

-the executives are approachable and friendly -pay is competitive -great office views -there are some great people working here -no micromanagement

Cons

-they will deny it until the bitter end, but competitors are legitimately a great alternative and cost a lot less -absurd pricing -aggressive turnover on the sales floor -excessive amount of middle management -free snacks do not mean you are a hip company -too much noise on the sales floor -some of the managers bring very little to the table -numbers have been very bad and weaknesses in leadership has become very clear, right up to the very top

Bitsight Response

As the CEO of BitSight I have had the privilege of receiving many plaudits about the company's leadership, growth and success over the years. Of course, my role also means I should reflect on the areas we must improve - no matter how blunt the articulation of that improvement area is. I'm sorry you have had this experience with us, particularly as I don't think this reflects the norm on the sales floor. Clearly I am not approachable enough if feedback like this ends up on Glassdoor. We are growing quickly and successfully and there are times when I wish we were more aligned, but I will absolutely back my sales management team to the hilt when it comes to giving their best and working as a team. In the spirit of taking and giving feedback, I hope you have now moved on to a company that is a better fit for you. All teams need good leaders - we will be hard on ourselves and get better here.

Pros

- Lots of opportunities for cross-functional work/working with senior-level SMEs - EOY Bonus (usually) - Great benefits (Flexible PTO policy/stipends)

Cons

- Exec suite does not care about you! - Pay is not competitive; was paid significantly less relative to market for experience (didn't realize this until too late, mgmt wouldn't adjust salary either) - No cost-of-living raises over the 2 years I worked there (No raise at all, ever, actually! And no support to be promoted from within) - Layoffs occur twice a year, and everyone is replaceable
