DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. Trust your gut, and trust the bad reviews.
Long hours: You are expected to work very long hours, glued to your phone and laptop. You are expected to always be available for anyone to reach you. You are expected to meet outrageous deadlines and that means that you HAVE to work late nights and during weekends to meet them. Burn out is guarantee in the first 6 months.
Micromanaging: The training at Bisnow is intense, long and super informative, but that means that once you are done you are expected to know everything. If not, then this is where the line manager becomes the biggest micromanager. Constant 1:1, daily check ins, and what feels like bullying every time you are not reaching unrealistic targets. You are constantly compared to other employees that do the same job as you and they succeed.
Toxicity: WOW! What can I say about this…This company is the most toxic environment I have ever worked at. Gossiping about old and current employees, no work life balance, intrusive managers with no incentive. Constant fear that you will be fired…When I finally decided that this is not an environment that I want to work in, they tried to keep me with more money and less work and to remind me that my previous salary before joining them was way lower than what they were giving me!! Guess what, that last sentence was from the HR director, who had the audacity to make that comment to make me feel small and create a fear scenario so I don’t leave them.
