Run, don't walk, away from the IT department here. The deep-seated issues make it a career killer. - Anonymous employee BioMar Employee Review

Pros

The flexible work schedule is great. The office is nice and in a good location. Some competent colleagues.

Cons

Don't Be Fooled: The fancy office and promises during the interview are misleading. The reality is the IT department is struggling with poor leadership, lean staff, lack of competence, and a "get it done fast" mentality that leads to poor results.

Pros

Option to work from home.

Cons

PMO and management within Group IT are highly dysfunctional and operate in a bullying, top-down manner. Requirements are routinely invented by IT leadership rather than properly gathered, and teams are expected to fix fundamental design failures downstream. Core fundamentals were missing from the ERP implementation (no EDI, no XtendM3), which raises serious questions about how a billion-euro company can roll out an ERP system without clear business rules. The IPI business mapping was implemented incorrectly, leaving end users struggling to understand and use the system effectively. As a result, adoption is difficult and day-to-day work is far more complex than it should be. Both internal and external employees avoid raising these issues, as PMO and management consistently deflect responsibility, shift blame, and avoid accountability rather than addressing the underlying problems.
