Cons
-Many Inspectors do not get their site assignments until 5:45 PM the day before so Work Schedule can be unpredictable -Inspections Scheduled can both be too much and too little, an inspector may have a day where there is a single one hour inspection, an inspector may also have a day where they are doing the job of 4 inspectors in 4 different areas each requiring 5-8 hours inspection in a single shift. -Be prepared for many Unpaid Religious Holidays -As work schedule is primarily at Construction Sites, be prepared for inclement weather or cancelled work due to it -Office Support for given projects can range from absent to average, an Inspector may find themselves onsite without any paperwork or drawings pertaining to that project and has to often remind Office Staff to send it in depending on who in Office is managing the project. -Reimbursements may come minimally, be prepared to justify each one -Vacation Time Off does not kick in until Employee works there for at least one year -There is relatively high turnover rate amongst both Field Inspectors and Office Staff.
