Pros
Team staff (including room leaders), children, and families were great. Opportunities to gain experience and adaptability within the sector quickly.
Cons
Leadership communication was often inconsistent, which made expectations unclear. Management seemed to lack experience and created rifts and tension amongst staff. Lack of resources and support for both staff and children. Policies and procedures were not always applied or followed uniformly. Staff workload could feel overwhelming at times, particularly without adequate support, causing high stress and burnout. Professional development and guidance varied depending on who you reported to. Feedback was not always constructive or clearly communicated. Pay rate was not as competitive as advertised.
