Pros

I found working for a catalogue company such as Betterware was beneficial in ways such as outdoor exercise and meeting people, the work itself was enjoyable delivering catalogs and then delivering items ordered.

Cons

As I was classed as self employed and earning 20% of any orders taken and with the amount of work involved cleaning the catalogue bags and preparing the catalogues for the next day and also picking catalogues up outside peoples doors left out in the weather and the amount of work involved cleaning the catalogue bags and preparing them for the next day, I found the the work involved added to 30 hours a week, plus working weekends. My earnings didn't reflect the amount of hours and the work involved.

Pros

It gives you experience in handling customers, Gives you exercise due to the amount of walking you will be doing and also the pay. As well as meeting and getting to know people you may never have met or spoken to before

Cons

The job is commission based at 20% per customer order, the minimum amount of orders before they are put in is £50. There are weeks where people won't order anything and those who have ordered may have to wait a while before they receive what they ordered due to the fact of no one ordering.
