Pros
- Talented and supportive colleagues across departments - International work environment with interesting projects - Nice office views
Cons
- Senior HR leadership, (I'm referring to only one specific "leader", everyone knows who she is), creates a culture of fear and mistrust - Feedback is consistently dismissed or met with defensiveness; no meaningful action is taken - Recognition for hard work is extremely rare unless it benefits the leadership’s own image - Team successes are often publicly reframed as individual accomplishments of leadership - Communication from the top is vague, delayed, or withheld entirely - Toxic behavior is tolerated if short-term results are delivered - Decisions are made in silos, with no transparency or collaboration - Little to no investment in team development or internal growth opportunities unless people complain or threaten to leave - Empathy is lacking—emotional intelligence is neither demonstrated nor valued - Constant lies, gossip and drama fueled from the top - Repetitive unethical behaviour centred around nepotism and conflict of interest for someone who should be the champion of our values, not the person who is known for her shady practices
