      Solid job training; good communication and mentoring from employers and supervisors; work from home and set your own schedule; good balance of deadlines with workloads; great organization for online database and backing up files; pleasant coworkers who are willing to help

      Pros

      Everyone - from publishers to designers and corporate office staff - is helpful and eager to see the whole team succeed. Other content coordinators are wonderful about sharing information that would be relevant to magazines outside of their area. Quarterly webinars also keep us abreast of what's new.

      Cons

      Some things within the software can occasionally be clunky; but IT listens to suggestions and always works to make improvements.
