Pros

The only reason to work at best buy is because it is the easiest job you will find if you can ignore the BS, the benefits and discount are a nice perk as well.

Cons

Lots of politics for absolutely no reason, favoritism top to bottom, high quality employees are ignored in favor of suckup and yes men. Absolutely no emphasis on preventing shrink and theft. Unless your ideas or work is creating sales for management there is no support given. No pressure to buy on the customer but tons of pressure on the employee to sell service plans to the extent that staff may tell customers the product is out of stock so that another customer will buy it with service attached.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
