Pros

Good discount. It's better on some things but not as good as sales prices on others. If you like customer service, you get to deal with a lot of different people. Somewhat fast-paced at times.

Cons

Never recognized for hard work, determination, initiative, or giving the 110% that is incessantly preached. Vert rarely recognized for sales volume, and when you are, it is quickly followed with a "but, you should've added..." or "next time, say..." Many, many, many meetings that force you to push needless products on customers. If you hate being approached 12 times by sales associates with fake grins in the first 5 minutes you walk in somewhere, you will hate working here. You feel like an enormous hypocrite. The middle management will drive you insane. Lots of brown nosing to seniors and condescending remarks to workers.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
