Pros

good employee discount, however you will quickly come to find that most major items have zero markup and you're only getting good deals on smaller stuff. Tend to hire the same age group (college age students) so the people you work with can be good. Management stays out of your hair as long as you make their ever increasing warranty/geeksquad sales targets.

Cons

Doesn't matter how great you are with customers and how much you sell, all they care about is how many warranties you are selling. Be prepared to spew out the same rehearsed sales pitch about PSP, PEP, PRP, UPP, and a dozen other useless warranty acronyms. Also a huge push to sell geek squad services even though 90% of the employees in the geek squad are incompetent and mess up customer orders. Full time positions are nearly impossible to get unless you are the top performing sales person, even then there were people waiting literally years to go from part-time to full-time. No product training, nobody cares how much you lie/make up stuff about the product as long as you get more warranties out of the door. Pay is just above minimum wage yet they expect you to sell like a commissioned sales person making 100k a year.

Pros

Pay, fairly easy to communicate, lot of work, flexible schedule

Cons

Big corporation, impossible to implement new ideas that actually work, they change things based on some crazy idea from a Executive that never had any hands on experience, they make major changes out of nowhere!
