      Kind manager and owner. Easygoing work environment

      Cons

      Benefits are not competitive compared to other admin roles. This role doesn’t offer opportunities and benefits that you would see in a Career role. -5 days of PTO -no health insurance offered at time of hiring (this is illegal, I believe they exceed 50 Full time employees & Full Time equivalents) -Business is normally closed on Sun & Mon. Many US holidays fall on a Mon. We did not get a “make up” holiday day off

      Pros

      Opportunity to work closely with students and see measurable academic improvement. Flexible scheduling compared to traditional teaching roles. Small class sizes and one-on-one sessions allow for personalized instruction. Supportive coworkers and collaborative atmosphere among instructors. Chance to build skills in curriculum delivery, test prep strategies, and student engagement. Exposure to a variety of grade levels and subjects. Management is generally approachable and open to feedback.

      Hours can be inconsistent depending on enrollment and season (busy during summer/SAT season, slower in off months).
