Pros

You will shoulder responsibility for growth. Your co-workers are great people who just want to earning a respectable living and the friendship outside of the office is wonderful and genuine.

Cons

You will be underpaid and overworked. You will not be appreciated unless you accept sub-par industry pay and work your butt off while being quiet. The company churns through employees and prefers to hire cheap college talent in place of true industry professionals (because they just take information from other news sources, they aren't analysts). You will be tricked into believing this company is focused on culture but you will be abused and have nothing to point to as you further your career path. The place feels like some pet project and fails to be taken seriously when you ask around the industry what people think of it. You will receive no money from management for resources required to do your job, you will be harassed for any incremental expense incurred for you to perform your job more efficiently and because of that you will find yourself working more than 80 hours per week for less annual pay than a McDonald's employee.

Pros

When I initially started with this company, I was wary because of the less-than-stellar reviews on Glassdoor. However, I've been working at Benzinga for close to a year now, and I've actually really enjoyed it. The people I work with are competent at their jobs and easy to work with, and I love working from home. If you have the opportunity to work here, I highly recommend it.

Cons

Occasionally disorganized and some emails/communication slips through the cracks

Pros

The people that work at Benzinga are genuinely good people and great at their job.

Cons

Benzinga's parent company set up the employees to fail by not providing any training to new employees or hiring the necessary people. Everyone was stretched extremely thin, and the addition of a couple key employees could have taken the pressure off immensely. However, the PE company that owns Benzinga only cares about the bottom line, not the steps needed to get the results they want. New employees also got ZERO training or direction from anyone. The HR department is one person, and neither they nor the managers have the manpower or time to train new employees on what the company does or how they do it.
