Pros

- I get to learn and contribute to fundamental parts of the product, and I get to see the results/feedback from customers on top of that. - From a skills point of view, I accumulated more skills in the past six months than in the past two years at a different company. - Have 1 on 1 with manager on weekly basis (1 hour meeting), and I really value those compared to 1 on 1s every quarter (15 minutes) at my previous company. - I can bring up any concerns and new goals that I am working on and not feel like I am being judged. - Work life balance is ok given that I am also doing my online masters at Georgia Tech.

Cons

From my point of view, the only downside is that the company currently doesn't offer 401k. But given my current goals, that's not a priority for me. And I believe that once the CEO sees it's the right time, we will have it.

Pros

Paid lunches everyday and snacks in office. Very Small company (30 people roughly) so you get to work along side C-levels. Good people and relatively fun work environment (until something breaks). If you want to get some experience at a Startup, Bento is a less crazy option

Cons

Communication and training are not great. Lot of work is manually done. Small company and yet leadership is not on the same page about a lot of things. HQ split between SF and Chicago, not only a time zone change but a different mind set about work Marketing has little idea as to how the product actually works and yet is in charge of selling it. It is a banking product and yet no one of the team has mid/high level bank experience. Big blindspot. Truly cannot say where I see this company in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, though currently I lean towards it being acquired in someway.
