Work culture is very poor. Kolkata office is being affected by politics conducted by local managers including floor managers. Managers are not transparent and fail to motivate others. Many managers spend time in collecting informatio of other's personal life. Many of them don't do effective work and surprisingly they are paid high perks. They don't allow others to move up in the ladder. The worst part is the local office management. Floor managers run own group comprising of ineffective people who are not accepted by other colleagues. Office events are conducted in a manupulative manner as office managers impringe own people who try to impress others by improvised fake forgein accent. One can find non technical people promoted as team manager.
Managers don't allow effective team member to get a promotion. Salary offered to the effective people is very low. Managers only promote those people who can butter them. Mid level people from Kolkata office has to leave with a bitter experience. There is no HR team at Kolkata location. Working for a long time can be hurtful at Kolkata location. No salary hike and promotion is being offered. Only few person who work with Floor managers gets hike which is quite high compared to the others.
