No real pressure of work. Possibility of interacting with colleagues from across the world. Cultural Learning possible. If one believes in Work (9-6) & Life (Weekends) - Balance, this could still be a decent place.
Cons
HR is non-existent, they don't comprehend what they can do in an organisation. Performance evaluation is not linked to Salary Hikes. There's no way No Fast Track performers are recognized or taken care of. Talent acquisition is a joke! No real metrics to what kind of candidate would fit a role well. Every year they pay huge sums of money to HR Technology systems, but its of no use. Manager changes, no feedback is given from the old one to the new one. Learning is almost Flat. Career Path is never defined. Don't need Managerial Skills or even will, to become a Manager here. Complaints/Discussions about your issues, with HR, are just chit chats. No real action happens. Bunch of non-performers would also be appraised the same way as a high performer(Performance evaluation metrics is so unscientific).
