Pros

Vacation policies, although worse than they used to be, are better than most companies. Pay is decent, but tiny merit raises are eating into that too. Great people. Some of the programs are very well run. The new CEO, Mitch Snyder seems to be intent on turning the company around.

Cons

Morale is the worst I have ever seen after several years of quarterly layoffs. There is too much emphasis on promoting very junior level employees with big egos. For this reason, much of the management utilizes intimidation to cover up their shortcomings since they weren't ready for those levels of responsibility. Cutbacks in quality controls and corrective action initiatives have led to a decrease in quality. Outsourcing has also been handled terribly and vendors seem to be more in control of the product than Bell. Finally, the poor implementation of a new ERP has led to tremendous losses due to decreased functionality.

Pros

9/80 schedule, every other Friday off. 401k match is decent but long vesting period. A lot of ERGs and events for people.

Cons

Employee morale is not what it used to be. Cafeteria is not great, food and the prices. Career development is slow, unless you get lucky.
