Pros
Belk has a good work/life balance. Flexible scheduling allows associates to have a life outside of work. The pay is good if you are willing to work for it. Belk has plenty of opportunities for growth and development. Discounts are good.
Cons
Depending on the store manager; the hours can get long when a corporate visit is coming. There is no drug test to get a job at Belk, so you never know what type of person you are working with. Constant drive for credit apps can be rather demanding.
