Very Poorly Managed - Mental Health Therapist Beecon Recovery Employee Review

Very little except it is located in a town that really needs services.

Just ask around town, Walk around downtown and ask businesses nearby. They try to make it look like people just hate them because they are a recovery center although the owner has been hostile towards other businesses for no reason. Secondly the pay looks high, It is because part of their business model is to hire people considering even working in the Logan and Brigham area and fire them within months. They do this to slander you and destroy the reputation of anyone for other potential employers. If you are quality they will hire you, Just beware the allegations they lodge against you, which ironically are projections, will be extremely damaging and disturbing. They are hostile towards others than trash them on social media if they stand up to them.

The support staff was great. They seemed to be committed to creating a safe and stable environment for the clients. The clinical team was equally as great to work with. The clinical director was supportive and other therapist were competent and engaged.

While the staff was amazing the owner created a hustle work environment. There were multiple complaints about harassment (all sexual in nature), unethical hiring practices (often hiring the person he was dating at the time and then firing them if they broke up), and he often demonstrated a general lack of concern for clients needs. If was clear to both clients, staff, and clinical that everything was solely about making him more money. The owner oven presses for unethical practices attempting to dictate clients level of care rather than allowing clinical members to assess needs. Additionally, many of the reviews on Google we solicited by clients by the owner and he "help" them write them generally in their first week of treatment.
