Pros
Some colleagues are very friendly
Cons
The work environment is incredibly toxic, and it's not just limited to a few bad apples. From the very top down, management seems to take pleasure in belittling and abusing their employees. I have never encountered such an unprofessional work culture in my entire career. During the peak of the coronavirus, the company showed no concern for employee health and safety, requiring employees to come into the office against government directives. This reckless attitude towards the well-being of employees was both disappointing and alarming. It's abundantly clear that the founders have no experience in management, which has resulted in a company run like a dictatorship. The result is an unpleasant atmosphere where bullying, gossiping, and verbal abuse are all too common (including the HR). The company seems to have no interest in nurturing a healthy work environment or fostering positive relationships between colleagues. I was particularly disturbed by the old-school Chinese management style employed by the company, which seems to prioritize the company's bottom line over the well-being of their employees. There was no respect for employees' personal lives, with long hours and little consideration for work-life balance. Furthermore, the company seemed to be exploiting non-EU workers who were desperate for visas, with little regard for their rights or wellbeing. This was a major red flag for me, and I would advise anyone looking for a job to steer clear of this company.
