Thank you for sharing your concerns. We went through an org restructure that impacted 11 roles, which you know wasn't communicated when this was posted the midnight prior to us being able to share with folks impacted and the rest of our organization. That's unfortunate.
While it's never easy to make these decisions because we care about everyone impacted, we are responsible for making hard decisions. We took accountability and shared internally our reasons and also communicated what we are doing to support those impacted, which included,
- Generous Severance Pay
- PTO Payout for those eligible
- Continued Healthcare Coverage for those eligible
- Career support
In our latest engagement survey concluded 2 weeks ago, 94% of the company agreed or strongly agreed to the commitment of the organization and 84% agree or strongly agree they fit and belong here as well as feel they have psychological safety.
We have areas to improve, but are proud of our progress, additional investments we're making in talent, and the great team members we have that actively contribute and are committed to making BeatStars exceptional. We're looking forward to our new chapter.
