Pros
Literally zero. There are none.
Cons
Unnecessarily long working hours, less that average pay, legal minimum annual leave (3 days of which are compulsory over Christmas). Support structure from the upper management is non-existent, many of them of just straight up unpleasant to deal with. No bonus scheme, no kind of incentives at all, very little working from home flexibility, made to come into the office during refurb works with very loud and distracting building works and no flushing toilets/running water. No Christmas party or social scene organised by the company at all, no celebration or thanks given for any work completed, no incremental pay increase, pay reviews only happen when you collar the manager as they will not come to you on them. I feel like I could go on. I worked for Beacon for 3 and a half years and it wasn't always this bad, but the levels of micromanagement and the complete lack of respect shown to employees recently is genuinely shocking, as if they are actually trying to force out their employees and in fairness it is working because many have left and I'm sure many more will.
