Pros

Salary is decent. That pretty much sums it up

Cons

The Crop Science team in Sofia is a perfect example of how a single bad apple at a manager position can ruin the work environment for everyone. I am referring to Jecho Murzov in particular. I would recommend to avoid working in a team managed by him, unless you're a fan of being micromanaged, or disrespected with snarky remarks in front of your colleagues on a regular basis. If you still decide to join, also be prepared to have your home office days (mandated by company-wide policies) denied, not because there is something on-site that requires you to be there, but instead only so Jecho can periodically come peek around a corner to check if you're working - which at first can be funny, but quickly becomes creepy and annoying. Apparently the obscene amount of turnover in his team does not raise any red flags to upper management, or they simply do not care, and HR does not help either - they say they know about the issues and that's the end of the discussion. Conclusion - better keep away!

Pros

Excellent compensation packages with good 401k match, health benefits, bonus percentage and vacation. Excellent colleagues and talented teams.

Cons

Acquisition of Monsanto and its legal battles have hurt the company finances and sunk the stock value significantly. Due to struggling cash flows, they have been laying off talented & senior employees every year and the teams are losing talent and experienced leadership.
