Pros

You don’t have to drive into work as many times a week. A you regularly get it. Three of four shifts do the corporate mandated meeting at the beginning of shift so the large number of temps they have don’t need to worry about not getting paid for hours.

Cons

They change the clock in times of temp employees to the scheduled start time regardless of how early you arrived and began working. The M4 shift requires all employees to be at work wearing all protective equipment and ready to start the machines prior to the start of their shift. They require all employees to perform work then change employee start times to avoid paying for them for the work. That’s wage theft. They also like to fire or not hire people on saying they were late when they were always there clocked in 5 minutes or more before start time.

Pros

Better pay than other companies My team - full of hardworking and knowledgable individuals.

Cons

Leadership/Management - can be micromanaging at times and not a lot of guidance/resources being provided. Projects can change swiftly at Bayer, and most of the times there's no background context given. Work/life balance - asked to be "flexible" with schedule for last-minute requests, then criticized for having life/responsibilities outside of work. Also, these last minute requests reflect poor planning on management. Lack of team morale - seems like it's all work and not a lot of play. Burnout culture and not a lot of incentives to perform better.
