Pros
Decent salary. Fully remote engineering team (if you like that). There are still some bright, enthusiastic people working there.
Cons
I was with Bark since it was a startup when it was a bunch of smart, ambitious people who were trying to build a successful business. Unfortunately, that was eroded slowly over the course of the past 3 years with the onboarding of the new exec team. They have consistently lowered standards, bulldozed their opinions to the detriment of the business and made some really shady HR decisions. This has lead to decreasing business performance and consistent lay-offs over the past year. If you are looking for an engaging and fast paced environment where you'll learn and grow, you may struggle to find that at Bark. If you're looking to coast along for a few years, move somewhere else and don't mind the risk of redundancy, then Bark may be more your speed.
