Pros
Bark is a great place to work. Everyone is really friendly up to the senior management/founders making it a really inclusive place to work. Unlike other agencies to the clients that are onboarded are picked as we are able to work with them as partners rather than people just to build and optimise ads. We are often involved in their business planning, topline revenue and LTV which enables a great sense of satisfaction when you see a business grow - this has meant great client retention resulting in a really high standard of work over an extended period of time. It is also a great place to progress with regular pay rises and a clear path to progress. There is also regular constructive feedback with managers as well as the opportunity to learn new platforms like Google, GA, Shopify etc. Everyone is approachable meaning it's a good place to learn from others as well as have a real team spirit, which is reflected in the regular team meetings, socials and just general chat in Slack! The business as such is growing fast which is super exciting to be a part of, it's doubled in size since I joined and with no signs of slowing down its an exciting future ahead. The founders are also very open with the pipeline so its clear that there is a regular flow of clients should we have the capacity to take them on! I also find it great as its super flexible as we are able to work from home or go into the office in London.
Cons
Not a huge amount of cons but there has been a period where the workload was slower as the business grew and took more people on and clients were in the pitching stage. This has changed now and I feel is more a reflection of the industry rather than the company with a lot of the work coming in Q4. There isn't necessarily super structured training at the moment, so for learning new platforms or getting up to speed with ways of working so there could be an element more of that but I am someone who prefers to learn by doing mostly.
