Pros

-Coworkers are brilliant, excellent support from them, not a bad thing I can say about them -Free gym membership - Commission -Good staff discount on cafe items (30% bar coded items, 50% everything else) - Despite what I say about the hours, they are good enough that they leave time in your day to do other things.

Cons

-The hours are either 5:30-14:00 or 13:30-22:00, you are required atleast once a week to work a late early, which means finishing at 22:00 and being in at 5:30, which is minimally 7.5 hours rest, which is far below the legal limit. -Not much room for progression -The job can often be a little boring. As a membership advisor the main bit of the job would be to do calls to day passes, ex members, people who could be interested in a membership. If you finish all your calls then there’s not much else to do in the day. - A bit of pressure to get sales targets, but there’s nothing extra you can do to get more sales really, if you do your calls then people have to come to you for membership.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It’s really positive to hear how highly you speak of your colleagues and the support around you, as well as the appreciation for the benefits on offer, such as the gym membership, commission structure, and staff discount. Creating a supportive, enjoyable working environment is extremely important to us, so this is encouraging to hear. I’m sorry to see that certain aspects of the shift patterns and the structure of the role haven’t fully met your expectations. Feedback around working hours, progression opportunities and variety within the day-to-day responsibilities is always valuable, as it helps us continue to reflect on how roles are organised and supported across the business. With regards to performance targets, these are in place to support individual and business success, but it’s important that colleagues feel equipped, motivated, and able to influence their own outcomes. Your comments provide helpful insight into how this feels in practice. Thank you again for your honest and balanced feedback. It is appreciated. Best wishes, People team

Pros

I can say that B Fitness is really a good place to work for. I think that overall the company offers a decent work environment, with very good benefits, fair compensation and vacation time, as well as good coworkers and a fairly supportive management team. I think the work environment is pretty good because most of the time I have meaningful work with clear expectations from management. Also, it seems like B Fitness provides clean working facilities that are generally safe and give me most of the needed resources to do my job. By in large, this is mostly stable work environment, but there is some turnover. Also, I feel like I have reasonable job security.

Cons

B Fitness provides solid company benefits like some paid time off and sick leave, some medical and dental insurance, as well as a some other employee programs. I feel like the company takes decent care of their employees and their general well being. I can say that both my coworkers and the management team are good at B Fitness. There is a decent sense of fairness in the company and the employees are mostly treated with respect. Management is professional and good at giving frequent feedback and work hard to foster a sense of team. B Fitness is a good company to work for and I would recommend it.
