Pros
I can't think of any.
Cons
Personally I didn't like any part of this job. Going into this I was very clear that I didn't want a position that required cold calling. They assured me that all the calls I had to make on office days were "leads". After 4 weeks of studying to get my license and doing the trainings (which the company makes you pay for everything yourself, and it's not cheap), I was ready to start my job. The first day in office I was calling non-responders...so people that didn't want to be bothered but their information had been sold online. We had a script to read which made it sound like I was a telemarketer. People were angry, annoyed and downright mean when you called. Other people were gullible and believed that they needed to buy healthcare from you, which made me feel terrible because our target calls were the elderly (people that need healthcare). Some people may enjoy this, if you do, that's great for you. Me, I was miserable. I was also told that they strive to help people. This is not the case. Everyone there was motivated by money and how many sales they could get. My passion is helping people and this job just did not allow me to do it.
