Pros
-They give you a nice salary for an entry level position (around 500 usd/month), but it stays that way forever..... -They are a bank, they'll just never go bankrupt. -If you have children, there are a couple nice benefits.....for them, not you
Cons
-They boast some "best workplace awards" yet their salaries are laughable (you pretty much stay in the range of 500-700 usd/month) -Their "seniorities" are a joke (as a senior you wont make even 100 usd more than the previos level) -Absolutely no mechanisms to prevent workplace harassment, yet they act all surprised when you quit. -The culture is pretty much your average "colombian old company" culture, where is heavily sexist, promotions are for girls willing to "do" her bosses, their double standards are insanely evident, -As pretty much every colombian bank, they use old tools, old technologies and processes, and that is not up for debate, as a matter of fact..... -NOTHING is up for debate, boss is god kinda mentality, -Wages are unbalanced, software engineers better be appreciated someplace else, -They treat you like you are disposable, but when you try to quit, they try to retain you with sleazy "legal" threats, -In my particular case, i worked 10 hours a day from mon-fri, 5 hours on saturdays just because a manager heavily underestimated the effort of a project and made us pay for it ourselves instead of coming clean. Not a single extra bonus was paid to me.
