Pros

Some teammates others throw you under the bus

Cons

1. Work from home - no reimbursement for internet or company use of PERSONAL cell phone 2. Management who is sexists and if a female has a suggestion it is shot down and torn apart, yet a male makes the same suggestion a week later it’s praised as a great idea 3. Upper management needs to do their research on a person’s background, culture and skills before putting them in a management role... case and point with a specific person’s cultural beliefs: Women are often expected to be obedient as well as not to challenge or disagree with his views. This may work in a different country, but not in the US. Not to mention if you should challenge or disagree, then there is retaliation. YOU DONT LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES!!! The bring things to your attention and you stick your head in the sand! Some issues are of a very serious nature and either you have incompetent staff to handle it or you truly don’t give a damn about your employees, which is evident in the fact you don’t give any kind of raises for 10 years or more! Cost of living and/or merit increases are standard these days even in the time of COVID-19, so get with the program!

Pros

Usually plenty of overtime if you wake up early enough before shows start at theaters. Home early if you wake up early which means you miss traffic both ways. It's a very hands on job and always moving around so days go by fast. You get paid as soon as you leave your front door till you get home. Supervisors try as hard as they can to care even though they seem to be overworked as well. Good benefits.

Cons

Always on call weekdays and weekends so you can't make solid plans, although this is very common for cinema technician/service technician in general. I have not gotten a raise since I was hired about 2 years ago. Unsure on direction of company. CEO sends out mass emails about corporate employees you've never heard of getting promoted telling you to congratulate them, while the bottom feeders don't get raises, promotions, or recognition.
