Pros
The product you will be working on is very neat and since the company is smaller, developers have a very direct impact on features added to the product. During my employment here I learned a ton and I felt like I became close to everyone on the team. Jad and Suzie (The owners) are great. They are super receptive to feedback and care about getting employees to where they want to go if possible. It was great having bosses that I felt worked as hard (if not harder) than their employees. They are also just interesting people to talk to (Ask Jad about his tattoo). There is also opportunity for travel for those that want to. The insurance / benefits are good. Great upward mobility here, since it is a smaller company with good prospects it is a chance to get in on the ground floor of something bigger. Why did I leave if I have so much good to say about this place? I guess I just listened to The World at Large one too many times and decided it was time for something new.
Cons
Sometimes when deliverables are coming up the team has to put in extra hours , but that usually comes with less work for a bit after the deliverable so it's not an endless crunch or anything.
