What may have once been a good company has deteriorated to the point that employees that remain are mostly unhappy. So many people are leaving or looking to leave. They also had mass layoffs. People are unhappy with the poor management. They talk about safety but don't reinforce good standards. Leadership is mediocre at the top. HR is next to useless. There are little to no development opportunities. They are losing business and they can blame it on external factors, but much has to do with the way the run things internally. This has much to do with why the remaining employees are not happy. They also break many promises. They won't be able to stop the employees from leaving if they don't truly care about them. Pretending to care isn't the same as really caring. There are many weak leaders in production who don't belong, but Bachem does nothing about them. And offering below market salaries, while insisting they pay market, doesn't help.
