Pros
Beautiful offices in Barangaroo and good flexibility.
Cons
There are bullies in the leadership team. I was gaslighted by my supervisor for years after I was bullied by a more senior member of the leadership team and it had been reported to my supervisor by others who'd witnessed it. Instead of focusing on the bully, over the proceeding 2 years, they did everything they could to find something, anything, to get rid of me even though I was performing. BT's priority is to ensure risk to the business is mitigated over the wellbeing of the individual. In my case, I was perceived as a risk because I had a strong case to pursue them for multiple instances of senior leaders breaching the Code of Conduct in their behaviours towards me. I pointed out this hypocracy each time it happened to my supervisor and I stood up to those who were out of line (vs running to HR) but in the end, I should have made an issue out of it formally with HR. Silly me thinking it is better to stand up to bad behaviour. As soon as they had opportunities to knife me, they jumped on them.
