Pros
- There were good and kind people I worked with that helped make training easy and also made bad days slightly better since they knew what you were going through, at times they felt like actual friends. -the building was clean and also had a small gym -benefits were ok
Cons
- Pay was not good for the amount of work you do. - Some of the customer base is extremely brash, even if you do the absolute best to make their project happen they will treat you poorly and actively try to get you in trouble. Not all, but prepare yourself for bad days. BSIs mantra is basically the customer is always right, so they will never politely push back on a customer, even when they are straight up berating you. - SOME coworkers are EXTREMELY vile and mean, most of the women in accounting would project their own hardships and insecurities on to you go around desk to desk talking poorly about you. I had this experience with another Project Manager and Coordinator while I worked here as well, so if you're one of the people who are able to take it with a grain of salt knowing they are just miserable people and its nothing on you then you can manage working here. If you're not, this company doesn't exactly put a stop to bad behavior, they just ignore it. -There is absolutely zero training from management, this is something the other PMs would talk about a lot is the lack of 'leadership' from management and how completely uninvolved they were and didnt care. When I started, I was told about how my manager would be the one to train me and no one else, she didnt want anyone else to train. Then she would actively avoid us new hires. Our training ended up coming from coworkers who stepped in to help, during my exit interview they admitted they 'failed me and should have stepped in when they saw I wasn't getting the early support I needed' -There is a lot of tension between engineering and project management but as a whole, it was due to the constant workload on all teams and the high pressure of the job. But sometimes it's hard to work with colleagues who are always mad and short tempered. -the desks felt stacked on top of each other with so little space it was like a tiny call center
