Pros
1. Will get enough opportunities to work in a pressured environment. 2. If you have a good repo with the management and show good potential then will get enough exposure to work in different technology. 3. There are/were some selfless senior engineers who guide/support/train junior engineers. 4. Decent salary hikes provided one performs and demands.
Cons
1. Late working hours is very normal. Management will persuade or pressurise you to work 24 * 7. 2. No employee friendly policies or any employee engagement policies. 3. Clients and management take employees for granted. 4. No personal life 70 % of the time you have to devote your weekends including Sundays and holidays to work. 5. One cannot trust on any verbal commitments by any senior resource or upper management. 6. Notice period is for 3 months. Its is 3 months due to the insecurity that employee’s have a difficult time to look out for better opportunities. 7. There is a lot of favouritism for certain employees during certain situations by the upper management which demotivates the ones working hard. You can be a favourite one day and the next day you could be bullied for working more. 8. If you are not in constant touch with the upper management and just take care of your day to day task then someone is ready to take away your credit. 9. Lots of good people/talent has left the company during the recent times.
