Pros

Work from home flexibility since the pandemic. Team members within my department were great to work with.

Cons

Toxic leaders that are manipulating and narcissistic. Hierarchy proud. Treat those at lower level disrespectfully. Low salary for the excessive hours. They falsely promote a “4 day work week” and you are harassed if you take any PTO and are given deadlines as late as 1 hour before 5pm and expected to have projects that take normally weeks ready the following day. Poor communication between leaders and supervisors. Basically ignored from leadership. Health and safety is of no concern. You will be emotionally abused and burnt out and HR does not care so don’t bother reaching out. You are expected to do tasks constantly outside of your job description. Leader has asked inappropriate questions and you will be contacted on the weekends on your time off and be expected to work weekends. Your personal health information is shared when it should be kept private. Higher ups manipulate situations and when things go wrong, those at the bottom of the hierarchy are blamed to take the heat off themselves. Highly unorganized leaders and have a history of burning bridges with clients and other work related relationships.

Pros

Stress Stress and only Stress

Cons

Once projects are completed, employees often become expendable. The company may cite “budget constraints” as the reason for termination when work slows down. Over the past five years, you would be the 10th person laid off from BSB under similar circumstances. Apply at your own risk. The grass can’t always be greener on other side.
