Pros
Benefits, 401K, time off (if it were ever possible to take the time off you would have the hours to use), a rare few (2-3 individuals) in corporate that actually have the knowledge to provide assistance or have true concern for the centers
Cons
Fixing the plane while flying is not the best motto to endorse with your staff. Employees are expected to revolve their lives around corporate requests and corporate cannot seem to get their agendas straightened out, agreed upon or communicated with each other. Centers are pressured to hurry and rush to try and fulfill impossible tasks that are later disregarded. Centers are suffering for the lack of competency that exist in the corporate field and are forced to try and resolve issues that should not exist. Corporate's lack of professionalism, experience, knowledge of day to day center agendas, and knowledge of the donor base is apparent to the centers. Unrealistic goals and missions are tasked to center individuals and are constantly harassed to meet expectations. Blaming corporate or the new computer system is not accepted as an excuse, even though they are the root cause the centers are struggling and having difficulty meeting such demands.
