There is often an expectation that everyone must follow their way of working, regardless of whether alternative approaches may be more effective. Some individuals appear supportive, caring, and collaborative in front of management but behave very differently behind the scenes, including being dismissive of colleagues, engaging in gossip, and speaking negatively about others. This creates unnecessary workplace politics, discourages open communication, reduces trust within teams, and negatively impacts employee morale.

A family-like culture among staff that makes newcomers feel welcomed and at ease. Understanding bosses who coach and guide their team as well as letting them have many opportunities to explore and grow on their own accord. Lots of opportunities to interact with C-level executives and business owners.

Being an old family business, there are very little bold ideas stemming from the upper reaches of management. There are quite a lot of uncertainty surrounding the direction the company wishes to head, which can lead to one feeling like a huge missed opportunity and an untapped latent potential.
