Fun environment but issues with management and HR practices - Asistant Manager BOSCO PIZZERIA Employee Review

Working at Bosco Pizzeria was unfortunately one of the most disheartening experiences of my career. While I initially had high hopes of being part of a passionate and supportive team, I was quickly met with a workplace environment that valued profits over people. The most glaring issue was the way employees were treated. Staff were frequently overworked and undervalued, and it became clear that the management saw employees as disposable. There was no genuine effort to support or retain the team, and anyone who raised concerns or needed assistance was often disregarded or dismissed without much thought.

Coworkers were lovely and very supportive

Very stressful due to being consistently understaffed. The chefs also did not understand that FOH was understaffed and were rude and often personal. The turnover for employees was also very high so would be working with new staff every week.
