Pros

Good commission and bonus structure, paid weekly.

Cons

No benefits of any kind. 40 hours of vacation, no sick or personal days. Very low hourly to start, once you're salary it's basically an increased hourly rate(not much). Umbrella management style with no one on one's. Everyone is managed as a group(top performers w/ low performers). Micromanagement and lots of top down pressure and stress. Very high turnover.

Pros

This is the company I am building a career with. A fun and friendly work atmosphere. The management staff really wants to help the rep succeed.

Cons

Offering health insurance for employees would be great, but that will come as they grow.

Pros

Hiring process is quick, you are typically working a few days after interview. The hours are 8-5pm with no weekends. Payday occurs every Friday.

Cons

1 ) Lead List is atrocious. Its been so heavily picked through every cold lead knows why you are calling 2) Some of the upper management staff get so excited about closing sells that they disturb everyone else on phone calls 3) The model is hard to swallow. High unemployment rated cities in which you are trying to convince small businesses to join the BBB and pay a membership fee to create a sponsored banner within the directory. 4) High pressure tactics to call call call! One day we were told there would be no coffee for the day until call volume was up. Seriously. 5) The current upper management all came from the Dallas BBB and it is obvious that there is an overwhelming sense of us against them. Them being their new direct reports. 6) The environment is disorganized with half of the staff telecommuting from other parts of the country while others are in office. This does not make the Us vs. Them scenario any better.

BOLD Staffing Solutions Response

Dear Former Employee, I do wish that we could have worked together to create great things. Unfortunately, when companies hire us to do business development calls on their behalf we must meet their expectations. We here at Bold still wish you the best on your career journeys. Thank you for taking the time to come on this forum and explain ways we can improve. As a young vibrant company we truly appreciate this type of feedback. Also, please remember, you where in the Appointment Specialist position and that position was only meant to be a temp position. Once someone has passed evaluation then they move up into sales. (Also keep in mind you just worked on one BBB client project.) As for some clarity I do apologize that you were not able to go into the Sr. Sales positions and therefore no one educated you on the pay scales. Once again we truly wish you the best and thank you for the advice!
